Born in 1990, Behzad Azadi is one of the emerging directors of the latest generation of Iranian cinema who has studied Dramatic Literature and has been making short films since 2009. His short film Temporary premiered in the official selection of Busan International Film Festival and initiated a great start for Behzad’s filmmaking career. Slaughterhouse is Behzad’s latest work which premiered in the Cinéfondation section of Cannes International Film Festival.
